How long have you been DJs and how many weddings have you done?
We have been DJing for over 10 years and have over 120 weddings under our belts. The rest of our team have been DJs for four years and have assisted with 50+ weddings.
Do you offer a written contract?
Yes. This not only protects us, but it also protects you as our client.
Will you be the DJ at our wedding?
We always have a minimum of two experienced DJs at every wedding we’re a part of. With our meticulous attention to detail and quality of work, having two staff members at every wedding is a must.
How many weddings do you DJ each year?
We don’t do this for a living, so maintaining a balance between DJing weddings and having free weekends to spend with friends and loved ones is very important to us. We take on a limited number of weddings per year—enough to stay busy without sacrificing the quality of our service.
What makes you different from your competitors?
Since we don’t DJ full time, we don’t rely on this for the income; we do it because we’re passionate about being a part of your big day. We don’t overbook to push volume and increase profits. We instead only take on a select number of weddings per year and give them the personal attention we feel that they deserve.
Have you DJ’d at our venue before?
We’ve been serving the Cleveland area for over 10 years, so there’s a good chance we have done an event at your venue. If we haven’t though, we’ll be glad to stop by before your wedding day to plan out our setup in advance.
Do you act as the “emcee” and make all of the announcements?
We typically do, but then again, we don’t have to—it’s up to you! We generally take care of all announcements throughout the course of the evening, keeping the night on schedule. We’re very comfortable talking in front of crowds of any size, but we won’t overuse the mic either; we’ll typically only use it to keep your guests informed.
How would you define your “style” when making announcements?
Smooth, easy going, confident, and precise.
What if something happens to you and you can’t make it to the wedding?
Neither of us have ever missed a wedding over the course of a decade. If one of us should be unable to make your wedding though, we have backup DJs trained and ready to step in.
Will we meet again before the wedding?
We always conduct a follow up meeting, Skype/FaceTime, or phone call no less than one week away from your big day to go over all of the final specifics.
Can we visit you at a performance?
We always welcome our prospective clients to come visit us at a wedding or other event to check us out, see the DJ booth, and basically see us “in action” before their own event. Of course, we’d need to clear your visit with the respective couple. If you’re interested, we’d be happy to provide a list of dates of when and where you’ll find us.
May we speak to your references?
Absolutely! We are very confident that any one of our previous clients will have positive things to report about us and what we do.
How involved can we be in selecting music for our event?
We want you to be involved! After all, it’s your wedding. We work with couples to customize the music played throughout the the evening and try to ride the line between weaving your personal expression into the night and keeping your guests entertained. Additionally, we always ask couples for a “must play” list of special songs that you and your partner must have played at your wedding.
